I put in for a $60 refund over three months ago. I was told they found it after giving me the runaround for 4 weeks that they found my account and they would send a check to my address it’s been so long I have moved there was never a check mailed my friend still lives there and has not gotten a check from Gabe’s do not use their layaway it’s a joke it’s just their way of stealing money because I still haven’t got my refund and if they think you will forget if theyvwait long enough and they keep your money. I will never shop at Gabe’s again. I recommend to never use the layaway and check all your receipts before leaving and make copies of them as the ink used on their receipts fade away. I’m going to contact the news I have receipts and still can’t get my $60 back . I am going provide the news with this information to see if they can look into this shotty refund policy of Gabe’s and do a investigative report,warning other shoppers, especially during the holidays and the economic crisis we are facing so No one else gets ripped off the way I have been. I worked hard for my money. I would give it to a food bank if I had extra to give way,not a corporation who obviously doesn’t care about the people who shop at Gabe’s.
