Dear Mama Doctor, I am a 55 year old woman. I went through menopause at 35 due to the fact that I had an ectopic pregnancy which required both my ovaries to be removed. Could you please post YouTube on menopause and the weird signs and symptoms that we women go through during this time of our life. I would appreciate more information. I wish you had been around when I was 11 and got my first menstrual cycle. I was raised by dumb hillbillies as we live in the hills of East Tennessee. My mother told me it was a curse from God. Imagine being 11 and feeling you were cursed when God. Well, that ended my faith in God! I now have osteoporosis, and five collapse fractures in my vertebra along with severe arthritis and had to have my thyroid removed 5 years ago. I’ll suffer from chronic pain on a daily basis and am unable to walk due to severe arthritis. You see, years of malnutrition and absolutely no medical care took its toll on me very early. You see , when I was a child we were lucky to have beans and cornbread free meals a day. Our water came from a cistern oh, we raised tobacco real living. When I was old enough to carry two five-gallon buckets of the Hill, aged five, I was forced to carry two buckets of water up a 300-yard the old in order to water the stupid plants that I now know killed many people. I had multiple miscarriages. I did manage three live births, one of which sadly passed away shortly after birth. I do have a 27 year old daughter who is perfectly healthy and a 21 year old son who suffers from Asperger syndrome, but had to be on bed rest during each and every one of my pregnancies. Matter of fact, I was given the choice between opting out of finishing my last two weeks of nursing school, or having an abortion. Needless to say, I’m not a nurse. Please, do more videos on the effects of malnutrition on children and menopause and the associated problems that go along with it.
